Requires Android: 4.4 and up
Microsoft Edge is the fast, safe web browser that gives you one continuous browsing experience from your Android phone to your Windows 10 device. Once you’ve linked your phone, your stuff will sync in the background, so you can browse wherever you like without skipping a beat.
Continue on PC: Go anywhere and pick up where you left off by seamlessly moving content between your mobile device and PC (requires Windows 10 Fall Creator’s Update).
Data Sync: Your favorites and reading list are synced across your devices, so no matter the device, your browser is always personalized to you.
Hub View: With your favorites, reading list, history and books all in one place, finding and managing your content is made simple.
Reading View: Reorganize the content on a webpage to make it easier to focus on what you’re reading.
QR Code Reader: Easily read QR codes at the touch of a button. Microsoft Edge will pull up the reading and information right onto your screen.
Voice Search: You can now use your voice to search the web. Ask a question or speak a prompt to use the web in more natural, familiar ways.
InPrivate: When you browse with InPrivate mode, your browsing data (like your history, temporary internet files, and cookies) isn’t saved on your PC once you’re done.

I was sceptical to IE because the last Windows browser I used was Internet Explorer. I started using IE in on my laptop and was very happy with it, so I decided to try on my phone. This browser has a simple user interface, it’s easy to use, has⬅️and ➡️arrow. It’s overall a very clean experience. 2 things that would make it 10 stars (figuratively) is the Read Aloud feature like on the PC browser and the highlight feature. Other than that I have no complaints. Great Job.

Seriously incredible. I went in just to try something new… And instead found a new default browser. The fact that you can add extensions to it is a serious bonus. Turn on the ad blocker extention, and never worry about cumbersome ads again. Runs smooth. The tab screen is different than what I was used to, but I’ve come to appreciate it. One of the best mobile browsers I’ve ever used. And built in desktop compatibility is a nice plus… Even though it’s limited in it’s functionality.

Easy to use and great for those using edge on any other device. One thing though: ADD MORE OPTIONS FOR DEFAULT SEARCH ENGINES! Or let us just add them ourselves. I use DuckDuckGo on my computer, but cannot use it here.

Somewhat paradoxically, as Edge for Windows is a bit of a dog; this turns out to be the best browser for Android, in my opinion. The built-in ad-blocker is a major, major plus-point, and the performance and layout of the browser oozes class. In an absolutely ideal world, I would like the option to move the search/address bar to the bottom of the screen, but I doubt this option will be introduced. The app is regularly updated though, and the developers seem to read these reviews, judging by the changes made. Having ditched Windows Mobile, it’s heartening to see Microsoft now producing some very solid, professional Android apps, such as this, and the Microsoft Launcher.

Good browser but syncing and managing bookmarks is garbage. After installing and setting up, it takes an amazingly long time to sync, and this frequently end up with bookmarks and folders doubled or tripled. This is the headache ActiveSync for classic Windows Mobile all over again. Microsoft still today do not know the proper way of syncing.

Quicker and responsive than the defaults Samsung browser. I do recommend you try it. But youtube video view is bad. seek function is done by dragging the seek marker. It won’t jump to the spot you directly press. Other than that browsing experience is very good. Tabs arrangement is very nice & compact.

Why did you have to make the navigation bar sticky? It used to scroll out of view, but now its just there and wastes space like in Chrome… Gues I can switch back to Chrome now, as the one important thing Edge did better is gone now. And, refreshing my former criticism:: Would like to see an improvement to gestures. In particular, swiping down on the tab bar should lead to a near to the swiping finger “new tab” button. The placement at the bottom right of the screen is suboptimal. Chrome does this better.

Great browser, in my opinion its easier to use than chrome and seems to be faster than it . Has the nice addition of an ad blocker too. All features are apparent and I’m easily using things like “find on page” and the favorites section which chrome probably has but isn’t obvious to the user. Also has a dark theme.

Well now this app get one start because I followed your lines but this store will not let you post the truth. This browser is based on chromium with is chrome but they added add block plus. The problem is that they will not let you have control over add block plus like it’s intended hence you cannot update the block list you cannot delete old add links that are no longer active preventing you from actually using add block plus the way it’s meant to be used. This is an insult to add block plus. It makes add block plus appear to not be a good extension. Not to mention you have no ability to add a extensions. So it’s chrome but slower because of addblock plus that does not block anything. Let us have control and update add block plus and give us the ability to remove it if we want.

Almost a month later this is still happening am removing one star…Is strange Remove button from Facebook People You May Know doesn’t work. Don’t know if is Edge or maybe Facebook doesn’t work correctly on Edge. Don’t recall having a problem on other browsers. Is so annoying the same removed people keep showing up. First, nearly all the people with no mutual friends that Facebook suggests are usually not interesting at all. Second a few of the ones with one mutual friend can tell just by their cover photo would have nothing in common. Bet LinkedIn works fine on Edge.
